Charting the Future of Insurance Professionalism in Kenya
The 2022-2026 Strategic Plan of the Insurance Institute of Kenya (IIK) brings out the prioritized 5-year agenda for the Institute.
This strategic plan focuses on improvement of the Institute's operational framework, growth, and expansion of its services to serve the continuously changing needs of its stakeholders. Some of the projections contained herein are premised on the enactment of the Insurance Professionals Registration Bill (IPRB) into law in the course of the life of the Plan. We anticipate that the Act will come into force within the first year of operation of the Plan and will serve to greatly enhance the legitimacy of the insurance profession and recognition of IIK for its efforts in regulating and supporting the insurance professionals.
The strategic plan emphasizes a results-oriented approach and customer centrality in its operations and service delivery in order to focus on adding value to the stakeholders.
Enhancing operational frameworks and improving service delivery mechanisms for better stakeholder experience.
Strategic expansion of services and programs to meet evolving market demands and member needs.
Working towards the enactment of the Insurance Professionals Registration Bill into law.
Customer-centric approach focusing on adding measurable value to all stakeholders.
